Miller Recap & Road America Preview |
BATAVIA, NY - (June 3, 2011)
Round 3 is in the books, and it was another tough weekend for Kyle at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. After being fastest at the test in early May, Kyle suffered a high speed crash Saturday morning in the first practice, qualified 11th and came away with an 8th place finish. The Big M Weekend at Miller was plagued with rain, sleet and hail throughout the weekend bringing dynamic conditions to the 3.05 mile permanent road course.
“It was just a tough weekend all around,” stated Wyman, “luckily I was able to salvage a top ten finish after some adversity.”
Kyle maintains 3rd in the championship hunt just 29 points out of leader and teammate Chris Fillmore. The next round is at Road America this weekend of June 5-6 in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Kyle finished 4th in last years debut AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series on the draft-battle producing long straightaways of the course, over 4 miles in length.
“Road America is one of my favorite tracks on the schedule. I’m looking to improve on my finish from last year and get back on the podium. I had a blast racing there last year and I know my RMR/Bruce Rossmeyer/Revolution Performance XR1200 will be strong this weekend.”
All times are local CST – so be sure to adjust accordingly and tune into the AMA Pro Live Timing site to keep up with real-time stats and results at: http://live.amaproracing.com/rr/
Kyle would like to thank his sponsors:
